Icarus safely works in harmony with a man basket or material basket nearly six stories in the air thanks to Dieci’s ATP (Anti Tipping Protection). Dieci’s Icarus series is equipped with twin front axle mounted stabilizers, sway control over rough terrain and a modern panoramic view cab. Visibility for tall projects is excellent with floor to ceiling heat-resistant glass. Icarus telehandlers have three steering modes with a four-wheel drive hydrostatic two-speed transmission over rugged terrain. The Shift On Fly gearbox makes it possible to shift gears without having to stop the vehicle and it assists maneuvers by means of the automatic uphill braking system, while the transmission eliminates shifting and jerking and produces high tractive force even at high speeds. The creeper function allows the operator to adjust the vehicle’s speed without using the inching control and to maintain constant engine rpm and oil flow, for efficient use of equipment such as sweepers or straw spreaders, which need constant power while the machine travels at a variable speed chosen by the operator.
